Zattoo is an P2P live video streaming service. It is currently only available in Europe and has over 3.5 million users. The technology was originally developed at the University of Michigan, and has been regarded as the best live P2P television platform. Content available on Zattoo includes BBC, ABC News, CNBC, Al Jazeera, and a number of European channels. Zattoos competitors include Joost, Skinkerss Livestation, Babelgum, Next.TV, and Chinese based companies Sopcast, PPLive, PPMate.
