Objective
YCM aims to be the organization that will provide the platform for young professionals between the age of 21 to 35 the opportunity to:
a) Network amongst peers of similar age group across different industries
b) Develop knowledge skills which are not within their industries
c) Meeting industry leaders of various background through YCM events
d) Learn and build organizational and leadership and soft skills
Membership
YCM’s membership shall be open to all young professionals from the age of 21 to 35 years of age. YCM events however, shall be open to all interested members of the public. Membership of YCM is free.
YCM will be led by a set of convenors who will be responsible to shape and organize YCM events. At the moment, the convenors of YCM are :
WMFirdaus WMFuaad – Nottingham University, Law, IRDA
Christopher Tock – Imperial College London, Mathematics, ECM Libra
Khatijah Rahmat – Edinbrugh University, Philosophy, Sime Darby
Chen Chow Yeoh – Cornell University, Engineering, Jobstreet.com
Projects
YCM are active in organizing and planning to organize the following projects:
a) The CEO Series for Young Profesionals – this is a talk series done by notable CEO’s of various industries. The following are the list of previous series:
Other future planned events include The Ambassador Series and The Political Leaders Series.
