People want to watch new and interesting stuff. The web has voluminous reams of it, but it's in Arabic or Korean or German.
ViiKii, a mix of the video and wiki worlds, will use the power of the polyglots of the world and let information be free. There are millions, perhaps billions of movie, anime, and TV show enthusiasts who are missing out on great content because of language barriers. We are committed to tearing down those walls and making content accessible and understandable to all. And we will do so in an open, collaborative global effort.
Those old Gundam episodes or Asterix videos you love but didn't understand? Now they'll be subtitled for free for your viewing pleasure. That's the bottom line.
