Looking to build a spam-free blog search engine for the European market, Sweden-based Twingly is in pre-launch mode as of January 2008. Rather than indexing all available blogs, Twingly aims to only index blogs that can prove their legitimacy. The service eventually aims to compete with major blog search providers like Technorati, IceRocket, and Sphere.
