OUR NEWS
The University of Toronto Student Life Consulting Project has no news yet.
ABOUT US
The University of Toronto is without any doubt Canada's best endowed undergraduate institution. This becomes all the more obvious when one notices its students' level of intelligence, their celebrated visionary impact, as well as their overall ability to see things for the better right before demonstrating their cunning ability to get things done.
The University of Toronto must therefore have well-functioning methods of encouraging the activity of its student's existing clubs in order to better focus its tremendously gifted student's involvement and activist passion. It must have the right tools to encourage the creation, maintenance and support of the new clubs as they reflect growing trends in their student's visions and aspirations for a better society, if not a better world.
The Anomaly
After reviewing some key data and empirical performance-evaluation of Student Life's current efficiency in accomplishing just these aforementioned goals, it appears that something is missing. New clubs and small Course Unions are dying (at least activity-wise) before the end of the first semester. When they don't officially disband before the end of the year, they still suffer from a lack of a solid leadership structure, a well-planned funding scheme and a well designed marketing paradigm.
Something needs to be done to avoid the terrible loss of student interest and involvement at the University. We need to take action to better encourage and support these emerging groups during their first years of presence on Campus.
The Solution
The University of Toronto Entrepreneurial Society, in its mission to encourage, foster and act-upon, positive social innovation, is proposing:
The University of Toronto Student-Group Consulting Service.
This organization will be designed to help individual new and/or small student groups at the University of Toronto in optimizing their:
-Leadership Structure
-Operational Structure and Facilities
-Financial Planning & Fundraising Abilities
-Marketing Strategies
Our overall aim is to use the best professional expertise available to provide free consulting services to any and all clubs at the University of Toronto who would like to boost their campus presence, their fundraising results and the efficiency of all of its initiatives and actions.
