Founded in late 2008, angel-funded, 4 employees, patents licensed from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, founders include key inventing scientists.
CEO: Shreefal Mehta, PhD, MBA, has experience in taking complex science to commercial products, including the market launch of a multimillion dollar product line for the petroleum industry.
CTO: Robert Miller PhD; Materials physicist with expertise in electrochemical energy storage device development, on original team that developed inkjet technology at HP Labs, microfluidics expertise and fuel cell experience.
Nominated "most promising technology" among 60+ cos in Rice Alliance CleanTech Forum end 2008.
