ABOUT US
Textic was formed in late 2004 and has been developing server based accessibility tools. Recently the company came out of R&D and has been selling Talklets accessibility software as a service. The system requires that a website owner installs 2 lines of Javascript per page and the site gets a Toolbar with the tools on it. This includes high quality text to speech.
Since no user downloads are required the website owner is making the "reasonable efforts" to cater for visually impaired users as per the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
