SwapBeats, Inc. (“SwapBeats,” “SwapBeats.com” or “the Company”) was founded by music entrepreneur and former independent record label executive, David Atkinson, and was incorporated in the State of Delaware in March 2008. A trademark was issued by the U.S.P.T.O. for “SwapBeats” in January 2011. Similarly, a trademark application has been filled for “ShopBeats” in June 2011.

SwapBeats was founded on the notion that creativity knows no bounds. We believe geography, money, and production restrictions shouldn’t limit creative potential. With that in mind, we’ve developed more than just a few tools here and there; SwapBeats is a comprehensive support system, designed to facilitate the music creation process from start to finish.

While the value of in-person collaboration will never be replaced or recreated, we think the potential for fostering new connections via digital flow is simply too exciting to overlook. The SwapBeats community is open to artists of all backgrounds, levels, and locations, encouraging and enabling do-it-yourself creative growth among the worldwide music community.
