Sagebit is a web application development firm that develops apps for end users and consults and develops for other companies. Applications developed by Sagebit include:

• TeamClip, a video sharing site for amateur athletes

• MailYeti, for evaluating the safety and veracity of email forwards,

• cartabuzz, a spontaneous way to find events happening locally in the next few days

• MonkeyStub, a super fast and simple front end for searching Ticketmaster events

• Sagebit has also consulted for companies of all sizes, such as Sky Blue Technologies, AFI, and ASMALLWORLD.

Sagebit was founded and capitalized in 2005 and closed a friends and family round in 2006. The company initially specialized in Java but has been a Ruby on Rails shop for 2 years. Recently they have begun to integrate apps with cloud services like Google and Amazon.
