RootOrganic is a model social business. In short, agriculture is a profitable social venture that can be taught through community groups. We would provide the "social capital," or education and technical support, through a model farm center in Costa Rica.

2. Startup financing. For the full project, $12,600 would build a medium-sized center, which would diversify over years to be self-supporting.
