ABOUT US
MP is the first centralized, comprehensive platform for the medical community capable of managing and aggregating all types of digital medical multimedia such as images, videos, slides, podcasts, and e-documents. The company was founded in 2007 by Harvard/MIT graduate students and a MGH physician. MP is based out of Cambridge, MA. It was a finalist for the Massachusetts Medical Society's Information Technology award.
MedicalPlexus is now being used by a growing number of residency programs and clinical departments at Harvard Medical School and its affilate institutions, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. At this time, any medical student or physician in the country may create an account and begin using MedicalPlexus.
The company is working with Microsoft's Health division and Cisco Systems' Global Life Science Group to integrate more interactive technologies such as live chat and video conferencing, along with developing applications for HealthVault to extend the platform to healthcare consumers.
