ABOUT US
Pulse Tidal is currently operating a 100kW Tidal Power plant in the shallow waters of the Humber estuary in the UK. The company was formed in 2007 and raised over $3m of equity and grants to construct this successful technology demonstration.
Tidal Power has an advantage among renewable energies in that it is entirely predictable. Using an oscillating hydrofoil rather than a rotating turbine, Pulse Tidal technology can more effectively extract power from a tidal flow and provide for simple installation and maintenance. These advantages reduce costs, enabling Pulse Tidal to deliver predictable, low cost, renewable power.
The company is currently building it's first commercial product, and has secured an $12m public grant to assist with this.
With an experienced team, a solid execution track record, proven technology and significant public funding in place, Pulse is ideally placed to make tidal power a commercial reality and deliver excellent investment returns.
