In anticipation of a rapid startup, PSI is negotiating a lease on an available, appropriate manufacturing facility at Mid-America Industrial Park, near Pryor, Oklahoma. The USDOC/ EDA (Economic Development Administration) has indicated they may be willing to provide as much as a $1 million grant, if PSI needs to upgrade this leased facility to begin manufacturing.
To facilitate global barter trade, Millennium Aerospace Corp. (MAC) will provide PSI with a special STOL-type aircraft (known as the Swan)for transport of barter items.
The Swan can land and takeoff via short runways on water, sand, or dirt. An example trade might be delivery of 10 solar-powered refrigerators in exchange for 1 (one) ton of Neem seeds, in a remote African village. These seeds would then be sold to W.R. Grace, for cash, to help make a unique organic insecticide. (Similar berter trade is possible with 2.9 billion people, worldwide.)
GIT Satellite will be providing two-way, satellite-type, text messaging pagers, w/ burst transmission capabilities and hand-crank generators ---as need to facilitate barter trade in isolated/ remote areas, worldwide. (This GIT pager helps to make PSI's global communications feasible and very affordable.)
PSI, a for-profit, is being sponsored by NPI, a 501(c)(3) charity. The draft business plan, for PSI, is posted on NPI's website (www.needfulprovision.org).
NPI is licensing patented technology owned to PSI in exchange for royalty income to help support charitable operations.
PSI's full team is now being formed. We are seeking an MBA student to join PSI's team for the Global Social Venture Competition. Prefer student(s) from the Columbia Business School, or Haas School of Business.
