ABOUT US

Somewhere between leaving University, getting married and having two beautiful (most of the time) daughters there came the phenomenon of the 'Yummy Mummy'. It took the whole 'Having it all' concept to the next level. Not only were we expected to be great wives/mothers, have wonderful fulfilling careers and a stimulating social life, whilst at the same time remaining glamorous and poised every moment of the day and bake cakes for the local fete. (cakes optional I know but sometimes it was the only thing that got me through the day).

Ever the optimist I decided I was up to this challenge - started a new job as a Marketing Director with a three hour commute thrown in (the girls at this stage were three and one year old). The fact that you are reading this on my company website gives you some idea of what happened next ... lets just say that this mummy became anything but yummy ...

I decided to throw my energy into something that I know and care about, hence Pergradi was born. From an initial idea (to just sell good stuff and have fun doing it) it took 18 months to research, with every product hand picked to fulfil the brief of providing high quality, stylish and affordable products.

Launching Pergradi in November 2007 has been one of the most daunting and exciting times. With a website and catalogue containing a small yet perfectly formed collection of inspired designs, unique materials, extensive organic choices and generally things to make you go oooh and aaah. Our values are simple ... we want you to love what we do and how we do it.

The rest of this story will rely on a lot of hard work, a bit of luck and some fairy dust thrown in. I hope to have a lot more to write on this page

THINGS WE NEED

  • We need a boost to our press coverage - small budget but lots of energy and wiilingness to promote - can you help us get out there????
