OnlineGroups.Net provides group collaboration spaces that function like a list server and a message board, with file-sharing and chat, located on a customizable advertising-free website.
Online group members can post messages and files using email or the web. Files are uploaded to the site, and accessed via links inserted in email posts. Groups have varying privacy levels, and support posting limits, moderation, spam filtering, bouncemanagement and email-loop-handling.
Group members can use multiple email addresses, and be notified of posts by individual emails, a topic digest or using web feeds. Online groups also enable a group to chat in real time.
Online groups are created on a dedicated site, using a subdomain of onlinegroups.net, or a custom domain. Sites are searchable, and have a configurable timezone, and site introduction page.
