ABOUT US
Mobnotes, short for "mobile notes", is a location-aware social networking solution that helps people stay up to date and meet new friends in their surroundings. A guide driven by users, to local interesting places.
The goal is to remember where you have been, and let your friends know where you’re going.
The idea behind Mobnotes comes from the so called 3M Post-its. Mobnotes are sticky notes that you can stick on a shared map. The service is useful to discover things around you like places, friends, and new people.
Mobnotes was launched at TechCrunch50:

While not exactly the same, Mobnotes has many similarities to Plazes and Socialight.
