great idea, why don't you stick some adverts in the film and generate some revenue from it,or even hire the kit out as a party piece!
This is high tech goes retro. I love it! As the cost of high def quality projectors drops and Lumens increases quality goes up. If you put three projectors in-line horizontally you would get something like Cinerama http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinerama
