ABOUT US
Lunch is a community where people can share and discover useful information through people who share their interests. Lunch focuses on member created reviews on almost any topic. People can provide feedback to reviews and other content on the site through comments and ratings. Lunch connects people based on commonalities in their tastes and opinions using its proprietary Similarity Network engine.
In addition to reviews, members can contribute factual information (facts, meda, tags) to the wiki side of Lunch. Lunch puts facts and opinions side-by-side, pioneering a new kind of holistic content. Members can rate, review, tag, discuss and describe almost any topic. Among the thousands of data points that have been reviewed are Wii games, yoga styles, politicians, sports teams, wines and online videos.
Lunch was founded by J.R. Johnson, in the summer of 2008 after he sold his previous companies VirtualTourist.com (user-generated travel review site) and OneTime.com to Expedia.
