ABOUT US
Kuanza is a new clothing brand with a socially responsible attitude. Our mission is to use the medium of fashion to inspire people to play an active role in the social development of disadvantaged ones all over the world and reducing the social dividend.
How do we do this? Through our online retail, we support positive social change by investing 20% of our profits in microfinance projects worldwide. The projects are directly chosen by our customers amongst a shortlist of those carefully selected by our partner organisation, www.GlobalGiving.org.
We aim to expand and diversify our “social offer” to inspire and involve a growing number of people. We want to build a community around our website for whoever out there is concerned with social issues, and spread the message: The time has now come for everyone to become fully aware of the poor social and environmental conditions of the largest part of this world’s population and to do something about it!
