Jive Software is a Portland-based maker of web collaboration software products for businesses and enterprises. Their products include Jive SBS, their flagship team collaboration software; Openfire, an open source server; and Jive Forums, their premium forum software with clients like EA, ESPN and Nike.

The company is focused on solutions to increase team and work productivity. Their Jive SBS product makes it really easy for groups to brainstorm, share ideas and see what everyone is working on. The product includes team member blogs, wiki-docs for group editing and discussion tools.

Also, the company recently launched Clearspace X, which helps companies like Intel create highly-interactive online communities. Intel created Open Port so their product and technology experts could communicate directly with the greater IT community.
