ABOUT US

wholly h2o is currently under development by a team of Bay Area woman led by Elizabeth Dougherty and Tara Hui. wholly h2o will soon be the California Claimed Waters Showroom, Certification and Education Center devoted to rainwater, greywater, storm and black water reclamation, and water conservation and efficiency management.
wholly h2o will exist as both a virtual community as well as a physical entity in San Francisco.

The website will provide:
•Basic information about systems, and where to find more information for each category: rainwater, greywater, storm water, and black water management
•Product information for rain/grey/black water systems, as well as products that support storm water management
•Service provider contact information
•A Calendar of recycled water events throughout California (including classes held at the Center)
•Water Conservation and Efficiency Rebates and Incentives available in California=
•News on recycled water issues from around CA and the world
•Links to water Blogs
•Policy updates regarding use and management of reclaimed water in California
•A list of wholly h2os certification and audit services


The Center will provide:
•Indoor and outdoor showrooms with demonstration of systems, and for-sale equipment for the collection, filtration, storage and distribution of recycled waters,
•Research library and bookstore on water issues.
•Rainwater and greywater systems,
•Products related to conservation and efficiency of recycled water collection, filtration, storage and redistribution, all in a scalable manner (meaning on the level of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, agriculture and government facilities),
•Bookstore and lending library with literature addressing all aspects of local, national and international recycled water
•Event space for certification and educational classes in rainwater/greywater, blackwater harvesting systems, creating and daylighting permable surfaces, green plumbing, and water-wise and zero-scape landscaping. This space will also be available for use by other institutions and organizations for water classes, trainings and events.
•Limited number of “incubation spaces” for development of new water technologies being funded through clean tech water prizes.
•GREEN JOBS in recycled water technologies and services through the certification and training program.

holy h2o works to create active partnerships with governmental agencies, non-profits, businesses, and individuals, as well as providing open-source information sharing.
