ABOUT US
We are a start up company based in Barcelona Spain, founded in 2009 to address CO2 reduction and address food security problems caused by climate change. We offer clean insulation alternatives and energy conservation technologies. With the help of Nanotechnology Platform of the Parc Cientific de Barcelona our company has developed an advanced insulation material from rice and rice husk. Aerogels are super insulators with many applications currently used by NASA for its space programs.
Fortunato Cárdenas - Our CTO & founder is a resident of Spain. He is a former Science Research Specialist from the Philippine Rice Research Institute, and a product engineer from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños.
László Tokaji - Our Business Development Officer is a recent graduate of ESADE Business School, Barcelona. He’s Hungarian, he’s specialties are marketing and operations management in start-ups.
