ABOUT US

gogoyoko is a new social music marketplace where you can listen to all music for free and buy music directly from the artists.

gogoyoko provides artists with the opportunity to access the worldwide music market – without having to go through a middleman. Artists set the price for their music, get 100% of the sales profit, plus extra revenue based on streaming of their music.

Everyone can sign-up, listen to their favourite music and share their playlists via gogoyoko.com. For free! The sites provides music fans with the opportunity to discover new music, buy straight from the source - and store their music collection online or download to their iPod / any portable device.

10% of gogoyoko’s income from advertisements goes to our partnering international charity and environmental organizations. This means that everybody visiting, buying and selling through gogoyoko contributes. Artists are encouraged to donate 10% of their music sales to partnering organization of their choice. In addition we provide all our users with the opportunity to donate through various means. Our partners include; UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Danish initiative Refugees United.

We are proud to offer gogoyoko as an artist friendly alternative music site to artists and music fans in Scandinavia.

gogoyoko is made by artists for artists. The company was created in Reykjavik, Iceland, by two musicians who by their own experience of selling their music in the international market knew there was time and need for something new. Something different. A new platform for artists, signed and unsigned, to reach the international market.
