ABOUT US
GetYourGuide is an internet platform that allows its users to offer and book tours online. Local Guides and tour operators can offer recreational tours and activities while travelers can find, book and review these activities on GetYourGuide.
The range of activities and tours offered can range from more traditional city tours to exotic activities such as river rafting or shark-diving. The Google Maps API is used to store the location of all tours created.
Founded in January 2008, GetYourGuide is a spinoff of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) with offices in Zurich, Switzerland, and Beijing, China. Officially launched in June 2008, GetYourGuide is currently running a public beta.
