GetApp.com offers additional services, which enable you to check out authentic peer reviews, social comments and buzz, analysts reviews, use an interactive online tool to select the best deployment method or contact multiple providers in one go, in order to prepare a shortlist. You’ll find relevant, crisp and consistent information conveniently located in a single place, which saves time and energy.

If you are an application providers come to GetApp.com to list your applications and be found by prospective buyers. You will be able to reach out to a new global audience of active buyers and get high quality traffic directed to your website. You´ll also get peace of mind knowing that you’ll only receive the buyers’ information that’s relevant to your specific market. GetApp.com offers an online lead generation channel that is aligned with SaaS providers Customer Acquisition Costs constraints, replacing the traditional VAR channel of software suppliers.

How big is that?

Investments in the last 20 years in IaaS (infrastructure as a service) and PaaS (platform as a service) are enabling the emergence of a myriad of new business application providers delivering their solutions on-demand. Because their are web based, easy to integrate and to use, these providers do not need the traditional indirect channel to sell. Online marketing/selling is the name of the game for their Go to Market strategies. There is no SaaS specific channel, no serious online marketplace to organize this ecosystem. This is the mission of GetApp.com.

How do we make money?

We offer a Freemium model. Basic entry is free but a full rich listing and extra visibility is to be paid for. We adapt to our client business model and have four levels of revenue income:

Pay Per Click: vendors pay for eyeballs to their landing pages
Pay Per Leads: vendors pay for leads captured directly by GetApp.com
Affiliation: if vendors have an affiliate program, we become a publisher and get commissions on sign-ups and/or sales
Subscription: Rich content for a company description is charged unless a vendor is already an advertiser or an affiliate.

What kind of company is GetApp?

It is what we call an "ultralight" startup. We have no Capex, very little Opex and no offices or employees. We do work with extremely efficient experts when we lack time and/or skills.

The company is self-funded and breakeven since its first month of operations. We will go after external VC financing for our growth phase. The market will tell us when exactly. Considering the actual success of the venture, it could happen in the next 9 months.

Who is behind this?

GetApp.com was founded by Christophe Primault and Manuel Jaffrin. The duo combine a boatload of experience in general management of software companies, B2B marketing, Internet start-ups and new technologies
