ABOUT US
The mission of FrontlineSMS:Medic is to advance healthcare networks in under served communities using innovative, appropriate mobile technologies. The centerpiece of our system is FrontlineSMS, a free, open-source software platform that enables large-scale, two-way text messaging using only a laptop, a GSM modem, and inexpensive cell phones. We are also extending the FrontlineSMS platform to enable better patient management, electronic medical records via the cell phone, cheap mobile diagnostics, and mapping of health services.

This is a great project -- I was recently in Swaziland and this type of program would do wonders!
yup, I absolutely agree - I hope the SMS platform you guys use is industrial-strength too! It would be very interesting to know what your delivery success % is Vs failed deliveries % is too in each country.
love the idea - watch this space I think frontlineSMS is onto something here
