eSnips calls inself a social content-sharing site. Users can upload and share any kind of media (music, photos, videos, etc) to their 5GB of (free) space. After uploading, users can organize files by folders and control who has access to each folder. The service also allows web content to be bookmarked, and for users to buy/sell media files.

In November of 2007 the company released a Social DNA feature meant to help you discover people similar to yourself.
