ABOUT US
Five times stronger than steel, two times stronger and ten times more elastic than Kevlar, spider silk is a natural marvel that eluded exhaustive attempts by science to replicate until recent breakthroughs by the scientists of EntoGenetics. These investigators discovered how to transfer the spider’s silk production gene into the common silk worm, creating the means for large scale, inexpensive silk production and creating multiple new market opportunities based on applications of this remarkable natural fiber.
