Emsi Software creates desktop security software with special focus on behavior blocking technologies.
Flagship product is a-squared Anti-Malware, an antivirus/antispyware tool that combines two signature based scan engines and a behavior based protection to catch all types of Malware.
To be able to detect new, unknown malware without the need of daily signature updates, Emsi Software developed a behavior blocking module called Malware-IDS. The Malware-IDS monitors live the activity of all running programs on a PC and stops them when a malicious or suspect behavior is detected.
