Established in 2007, Drinksin’s web sites and applications help users stay connected to pubs and bars. Focused around technology in particular the latest in mobile location based services and personalized customization. Drinksin will connect people to drinking establishments of interest wherever their location in the world via the internet or mobile device.
Drinksin is a 100% self-funded organization. Co-founded by Laurence Williams, serial-entrepreneur and former Sony BMG music producer, Mark Wallis (35), previously Senior Technical Lead for Multimedia Services at O2 and Jaime Keenan (29), BA Hons Advertising and Marketing Graduate, formerly of Marketpoint, privately held marketing and advertising agency and CIT a Fortune 500 company.
The company currently operates sites in London, Bristol, Reading and Windsor and has expansion plans to accommodate the rest of the UK by the end of March 2010.
Product Description
An innovative Web application, enables clients (pub companies, independent outlets, partners and promoters) to provide up to date information real time and online as well as to mobile devices. User profiling and geo-location solutions then enable users to access location-aware and relevant pub and bar content.
