ABOUT US
Clean Energy Innovations, LLC, develops a new proprietary technology (patent pending) focused on achieving a substantial improvement of battery performance, as measured by a variety of characteristics. This advance is called IPS (Interfacial Process Stimulation™) and is implemented via a small-footprint electronic device that can be attached to any battery.
This approach provides the capability to retrofit into existing systems.
The SIP technology is designed to substantially improve battery performance in rechargeable batteries, especially in nickel-metal hydride and lithium ion batteries. Target goals include:
· At least 25% faster charging cycles.
· Increased output power for a given voltage.
· Extended battery life by at least 25%.
· Changes in the manufacturing process and materials used to potentially convert these advantages into lower cost batteries, easier to recycle.
Applications for the process include:
· Batteries for hybrid, fuel cell, and electric vehicles.
· Batteries for power tools, cell phones, and computers.
· Batteries for renewable energy (solar & wind) to assist in converting generated energy to grid usable energy and load leveling.
· Standard 12 Volt lead/acid OEM and aftermarket applications.
Clean Energy Innovations is now seeking funding for the next step:
Characterizing the effects on various battery types and then beginning a dialogue with battery manufacturers and the users of batteries.
