Chad Joshi

Dr. Joshi is an accomplished inventor and entrepreneur whose expertise is incubating basic scientific discoveries into commercial products. For Owl Power Company, he developed a business plan around their technology to recycle waste vegetable oil into electricity, recruited key members of the management team and successfully helped them raise their first round of funding to launch the company. He has also provided advisory services to several companies in the Clean Tech space and mentored an MIT-based company to a second place finish in the 2008 Ignite Clean Energy (ICE) business plan competition. In addition, he has operational and management experience in privately-held and venture-backed technology-based companies including Energen, Inc., American Superconductor Corp. and Thermo Electron Corp. Dr. Joshi holds degrees from WPI and MIT.
