As a nation, we use more than 400 billion gallons of fresh and saline water per day. An estimated $2 trillion will be needed in the U.S. over the next 20 years for building, operating, and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities. Over 2 billion people in the world do not have access to clean water. Wastewater parasites and wastewater borne infectious diseases remain critical issues in developing countries.
Cascade revamps the global wastewater treatment process without needing revolutionary changes to the current infrastructure. Our patented technology is cost efficient and energy effective. We are able to save the U.S. $10 billion dollars annually in wastewater treatment costs, simultaneously generate as much as 3% of the entire electricity demand in the U.S., all while delivering a sustainable solution to the 1/3 of the world's population that lack proper sanitation technology.
