ABOUT US

Caring.com is a website community dedicated to providing information and advice about elderly care. Its yet another one of the subject-specific knowledge communities to pop up over the last year. In essence, it provides articles about dealing with your parents healthcare, financial, legal, housing, and life issues written by professionals or other users.

Note to find many similarities between BabyCenter and Caring.com; two of the founders, Jim Scott and Steve Fram spent eight years at BabyCenter. Caring.com also offers Buying Guides. Currently, they only have information for Personal Emergency Response Systems and Reverse Mortgages, but expect to expand soon.

Caring.com seem to offer more specific and tailored information in an age-related context than the Eons social network for those over 50.
