ABOUT US
Boxee is a free, open-source software platform that integrates personal media with Internet media along with social networking. boxees social networking component allows users to share information about what theyre listening to or watching with other boxee users or friends on social networks like twitter, facebook, etc.
Since its open source, users can create their own plug-ins, skins and interfaces.
The framework for Boxee comes from the Xbox Media Center, software creates by gaming enthusiasts for modified first-generation Xboxes.
