ABOUT US
Bose was created out of a need for better sound quality. Bose produces and distributes loudspeakers, headphones, audio equipment, and car audio systems. One of their most well known products, the Bose 901 Speaker System, was unconventional at the time of its release. Its pentagon shape creates their "Direct/Reflecting" technology to create a live performance sound. Bose specializes in luxury car audio systems. Today the company produces a wide range of systems which can be found in cars, such as Infinity and Mercedes-Benz, as well as the Sistine Chapel and NASA space shuttles. The company was founded in 1964 by Amar Bose, an electrical engineer professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
