Biofont is introducing the next biotech breakthrough: a screening device that can indicate in a simple yes/no format if someone is suffering from any contagious illness by sampling their saliva. This device will be based on immunoassay technology that currently in development. It works by detecting antibodies and other biomarkers in saliva, giving an instant reading on whether an individual is infected– and is therefore at risk of unknowingly spreading the illness to others.
