Ameba TV

Imagine having the ability to control what your children see on TV. With Ameba, you can. Ameba is a system that allows parents to create a customized program schedule, for each of their children, selecting titles from a large library of content gathered from around the world. Ameba also allows the children to choose which content they would like to watch, when they would like to watch it, from that filtered set, using a set top box connected to their TV.

We are targeting a well defined niche market of parents that see that money is not a barrier for their children’s education. For them, TV, as a medium, serves a purpose: it educates, entertains and exposes their children to a wide variety of content to ensure that they become free thinking individuals, and not brainwashed by mass media. They are often multilingual and technology savvy.

To accomplish this they need a venue that will give them access to commercial free, age appropriate and socially appropriate programming. We are working towards making Ameba just this type of venue.
