Yaisiel Omar Torres Vázquez is on his fifth college year in Computer Engineering. In his academic progression he has been able to acquire valuable skills in hardware/software design and implementation. These lie in the areas of Software Engineering, Microprocessor Interfacing, and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. In addition, he has been able to work for the industry (Eli Lilly del Caribe) as well as the academia (Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, UPRM); experiences that contributed in the gain of additional knowledge on low-level programming (e.g. C/C++ programming and memory management) and soft skills. He is also a proficient editor, writer, and speaker.
