Willa Qian

Willa Qian’s practice is concentrated in corporate and securities law, with particular emphasis on fund formation and capital markets.

She has represented publicly and privately-held corporations both domestically and internationally as a capital market consultant. Ms. Qian has a strong business and entrepreneurial background as she has won numerous national business plan competitions and elevator pitch competitions and has been featured by various newspapers and national business magazines. She is currently a judge for a couple of high profile business plan competitions and serves on the advisory board of several angel groups. Ms. Qian also has extensive experience in raising funds to commercialize various high-tech product designs and clean tech projects.

Within six years, Ms. Qian received her B.A. in business, political science and anthropology from the University of Notre Dame, J.D. from University of Miami School of Law, and attended the L.L.M. program at Beijing University.

Ms. Qian was also recognized by the mayor of Beijing and China Daily for making history as the first non-Chinese citizen to be invited by the Chinese government to work at a Chinese State Owned Enterprise. She is the liaison for Beijing Energy Investment.

Ms. Qian is admitted to practice law in California and she is fluent in Mandarin and proficient in French and Korean.
