I have started a startup, interviewstreet.com. It's an online interface for conducting mock interviews enabling candidates to get an experience before they strike the real interview. For professionals, it gives an opportunity to mentor people and get paid for it too!
I worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com. I am interested primarily in the field of algorithms. I have been on the Top 10% of my class and groomed myself into a a well-rounded personality.
I have been the Placement Coordinator for my college for Batch 2008 and successfully achieved the 100% placement record for my batch.
I am a keen follower of what is happening in the industry. I have done a lot of work in different areas of Computer Science. I love technology a lot!

Description: Part of the team which successfully launched the alpha version of interviewstreet.com – a portal for conducting mock interviews.
Technology:

Description: Worked on Kindle Content Services team. Part of a 6 member team which successfully launched https://kindlepublishing.amazon.com/ - a self-service application to sell your blog on the Kindle store.

Description: Worked on ‘Comparison of Ant Colony optimization and Simulated Annealing techniques for Stable Roommates Problem’
• Stable roommate problem (SRP) is the problem of finding a stable matching — a matching in which there is no pair of elements, each from a different matched set, where each member of the pair prefers the other to their match
• Was able to come up with a graphical comparison between the two techniques for different number of roommates.

Description: Worked on providing an Indian language support to a software named SQUEAK. SQUEAK is an Open Source Tool Kit implemented using Small Talk. The project was to provide an Indian language support so that people could use the software in the language they preferred. I worked with many Open Source libraries including Pango( for Font Rendering), with C and Small Talk being the languages used. I worked on this project for over 2 months and I am proud to say that I was the only one to accomplish this task successfully among all those who attempted, which included students from top institutions across the country and professionals.
