Shifting from a 15 year career in health care. Moving into Computer Networks. Volunteering my time since January 2008 I have been learning from Non-Profits and some of their organizational methods. My time spent has been in learning also to take care of and develop Moodle - an educational web portal that is filled with Routing Protocols; plus offers the opportunity to develop into an educational portal that can sustain a University size group. My research has included online marketing and advertising, as well as, social and business networking in an online environment; filled with the inconsistencies that only people can generate and create. It actually makes a great deal of sense to me, this online life.

I have with some recent access to funds begun the out of state incorporation of this Business in Vermont - Getsmartmoodle L3C is becoming a reality .. its being born ... I also have been sparking the interest of others in the last few weeks with this new business model and of course the ideals behind the project - the 3rd Goal - the 3rd Millennium Development Goal - Gender Equality and Empowering Women ... All of this is research and then some into a project that I am every hopeful will be my Thesis eventually - as that is the last class I have yet to finish in my Masters degree.

Description:	Presently developing, a Moodle 1.9.4 Build, for educational use. GetSmartmoodle.org will make use of available technology, will have community wide video web conferencing capabilities, make use of moodle-Google apps, (possibly a medical library), and be able to foster an education beyond borders. Open source applications outfit GetSmartmoodle.org to make her affordable and end-user friendly. Online educators lecture at an affordable rate for anyone using their home as a base of operations; a Global idea already in progress. Presently connected with Fairfax County Community Recreation Department in the creation of an online learning / testing environment using Moodle that will be used to test their area kids at their Computer Center .. Connected by Fairfax.gov/Partnerships I have been actively participating in online groups and discussions Internationally and making use of Social Networks such as YouNoodle, Ecademy, Xing, Ning, Facebook, MySpace, GoogleGroups, Twitter, etc .. in order to create a web presence for Getsmartmoodle .. I have been operating with some minimal voluntary assistance from International friends in Slovenia and India. Recent developments in Getsmartmoodle have show participation in online discussions within real community UNESCO-OER wiki; that have lead to several new avenues of participation on a global scale .. OpenCast - the Matterhorn Project (Global Podcasting) and Akamai University - who is going to start a grant writing process soon, as well as, try for its University status this year and I have requested participation in this process - Akamai's Dean - Dr. Capogrossi did suggest to me and ask if it were possible for me to teach on staff .. I said Yes, that it was possible - anything is possible with God and an internet connection ..
