The portal is Cigna’s primary external facing website for over 50,000 healthcare providers. It provides functionality validate member enrollment, track claims and referrals, query fee schedules etc.,
o Handled Overall Release Management for entire portal application – particularly Kaiser Settlement directives ,monthly releases and production hot-fixes
o Reverse engineered system interfaces and legacy code components which did not have prior documentation for impact analysis and resolution by tracing the application flow across multiple systems
o Created metrics based productivity measures to track effectiveness of support team’s work efforts

Description: o Managed a 60 member onsite/offshore team for Cigna’s Application Development Practice and Retirement Investment Services LOBs (Project value : $4.5 M , 60 member team) .
o Facilitated rapid adoption of outsourcing and lowered client’s TCO by phased offshoring of operations . Onsite/Offshore ratios were brought down from 100% to 40% over span of 1.5 years.

Description: o Naviamarkets is a leading brokerage firm dealing in small to medium sized retail customers based out of Southern India.The scope of the project was to build a one-stop online stock trading portal for their national and international clients by extending their existing in-house trading screens to the web .
o Designed the common portal framework , interfaces with IBMs backend trading engines and Settlement systems and data mapping to over 23 different data feeds
o Coordinated with a multi-vendor team (IBM, HCL, Data feed providers, Research Analysts firms , National Stock Exchange) to seamlessly integrate the stock quote broadcasting servers, IVRS systems, Backend Settlement systems and NSE’s trading platform into the portal.
o Custom built a content management application to enable client’s site administrators to maintain, refresh and upload new content to the website in a timely manner
