• Working as a head cashier, meaning I am trained in ‘Cashing up’ and training other employees on tills to high standard.
• I take on a supervisor role and cover the shop floor when managers are otherwise occupied, meaning I can support my peers as a manager would, dealing with employee transactions, delegating tasks, and issuing gift cards.
• I ‘own denim’, which means I have the sole responsibility of merchandising the “Denim” concept. Often using my own initiative to ensure that the standards of my department are above and beyond the company guidelines.
• In addition, I have been awarded an “expert” rating in my most recent performance review.

Following a day or so of training I was responsible for two other employees, packing clothes ready to be picked up, answering phones, and all customer service.

Currently writing my thesis on thwe fall of musharraf, which seeks to analyse the primary reasons that may be behind the sever decline in support for and subsequent resignation of now former president of Pakistan general Pervez Musharraf. The examination will particularly focus on the political pressures, social culture, and general transformation of Pakistani politics that makes Musharraf’s exit from the political system so interesting to study.

At college and secondary school I played cricket team, netball and tennis (and was in my school teams), at university I still play tennis in my spare time and other sports too.
Hobbies:
In my spare time I Iike sketching, writing, watching sci-fi/horror movies, playing my PSP, reading, and listening to alternative rock music (Muse, -M-, etc)

At college I was co-founder and head of the Economics society, whilst at University I am a member of the Politics, Sci-fi, Film and Drama societies.
Memberships:
I am currently an ambassador for my University’s Placement and Careers centre. The centre acts as an impartial and independent unit catering for all types of employment opportunities for students. My role is raising student awareness of the services that the centre provides and it is my own responsibility to utilise and research the most effective ways in which to promote these services.
I have always been an active member of student politics; at my college I was elected student governor, meaning I was a key member of the student council. In this role I was responsible for communicating student needs to the professional school governors and organising weekly student council meetings. As a governor I was most proud of my achievement in organizing the student leaver’s ball and end of year BBQ.
