Description: Computer Associates is the 3rd biggest software vendor worldwide and the biggest vendor of IT infrastructure management software. As Pre-sales consultant I support the sales process for Life-Cycle management software, database and business process modelling software, infrastructure management software and fault- and performance management solutions. As Pre-sales Consultant I support the sales process by attending pre-sales conference calls, giving classroom trainings and web demos, participating in seminars and trade fairs and by providing technical pre-sales support to CA’s partners and sales channel.

Description: Inter.net is an internet service provider with presence in 10 countries around the world. Inter.net dedicates itself to internet solution for SME. As Technical Director I was responsible for the functioning and reliability of the hosting infrastructure and the development and support for our product line for internet access (Dial-Up, xDSL, Roaming, Wireless), hosting (shared, managed and unmanaged hosting), security (VPN, Managed security) and turn-key projects.
As Technical Director I was responsible for the Systems Department (3 persons) and was member of the board of directors in Inter.net Spain.

Employer: Private Media Group S.L. in Barcelona
Position: IT Manager / Web Operations Manager
Time period: March 2001 - July 2003
Description: Private Media Group is the first company that dedicates itself to the adult entertainment business and that is listed on the NASDAQ stock market (PRVT). Also, Private was in 2002 voted in the Top 20 of best small companies in the world by Forbes Global.
At Private, my task was to be the responsible for managing and coordinating the IT admin team. I designed, created and managed the Private web hosting network in Conshohocken Pennsylvania (USA) and the Private corporate office network in Sant Cugat, Barcelona (Spain), Both networks are 100% based on Microsoft products.
The Private web hosting network exists of app. 50 webs hosted on several clusters of IIS servers, SQL Servers and streaming servers.
As IT Manager I was responsible for the development of Private’s hosting strategy and the development of the IT team (5 persons).

Employer: Icon Medialab S.A. in Barcelona

Description: Icon Medialab (www.iconmedialab.com) is a company specialized in development of e-business solutions for mid-end customers.
Icon Medialab existed in that time of 2500 employees in 15 countries in the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia. Icon Medialab Spain was located in two offices in Spain, in Barcelona and in Madrid.
In Icon Medialab I was responsible for everything regarding IT. This as well in the local office in Barcelona as in projects for clients. I was member of the International IT counsel which was responsible for the development of the global IT infrastructure for Icon Medialab.
Between October and December 2000 I was responsible for the structuring and opening of a new Icon Medialab office in Lisbon, Portugal.

Description: Knoware Internet Services is one of the most sophisticated Internet Service Providers in The Netherlands for end-users as well as for business-to-business relationships. In Knoware I was working in the Engineering Department which was responsible for the development and maintenance of the hosting infrastructure. This infrastructure is based on Cisco equipment and servers running RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows products.
In Knoware I was responsible for the development of e-commerce solutions based on Intershop products.

Employer: Acer Computer BV in `s-Hertogenbosch
Position: European Web Specialist
Time period: January 1998 - December 1999
Description: Acer Computer uses for it commercial business a series of intra-, extra- and internet websites. These websites were developed and maintained by the European Customer Support Group. In Acer I was responsible for the technical aspects of these websites. During my work at Acer I became Microsoft MCSE.

Employer: Dutch Institute of Care and Welfare (NIZW) in Utrecht
Position: Systems Administrator
Time period: January 1992 - June 1998
Description: As the only systems administrator at NIZW I was responsible of the development and maintenance of the local office network. This multi-vendor network existed of servers running Novell Netware, Microsoft Windows and Digital Unix and app. 300 workstations running DOS and several Microsoft Windows versions. During my work at NIZW I became Novell CNE.
I also participated in the development of NIZW’s first steps towards internet as media for communication with their clients.

Employer: Hogeschool en `s-Hertogenbosch
Position: Systems Administrator
Time period: January 1988 - December 1992
Description: In my position as Systems Administrator at the Hogeschool I was responsible for installing and maintenance of a Prime 2550 minicomputer with app. 30 workstations and several LAN’s running operating systems from Novell, 3COM and Tulip. These LAN’s served not only app. 75 workstations for classroom purposes, but also the Hogeschool’s administrative network.
