• Managing both client expectations and team efficiency to ensure that projects are completed within the required timeframe, to the agreed budget and to the highest specification.
• Maintaining the quality control to ensure that clients receive the best current-day standard of design and usability from both a front end and a content management perspective to fit within their budget.
• Creating detailed project plans for projects lasting from 3 to 8 months, monitoring progress and spend against those plans on a daily basis and adjusting and creating recovery plans as and when necessary.

• Pitched and won support of change through Royal Marines organizational structure to support new communications initiative – pitched and gained buy-in from all units and dealt directly with top ranking officers (Board level equivalent) to approve administrative roles and technical teams.
• Programme managed all project teams defined within scope to develop, integrate and execute technical and operational programmes as well as implementing in-life teams to manage ongoing. Virtual team size of 30 people across UK.

Description: • Resolved over 100 cases in 18 months which regularly involved changing forces policy on personnel matters as a result of casework raised by individual service people.
• Lead administrator of Pilot Programme for bespoke MS SharePoint Services and tools. Conducted user acceptance testing throughout Division of over 100 personnel and developed the now accepted policy for its utilization and new ways of working.

Description: • Managed a highly diversified team of 150 soldiers covering engineering disciplines such as telecommunications, vehicles, and weapons; and always ensured that their workflow and performance delivered results consistently to an exacting standard.
• Assumed the leadership role in running a busy department in the long term absence of senior manager and proved able to take on the extra responsibilities with ease.

Description: • Planned and controlled all aspects of training for a department of 90 personnel, including several highly successful week-long exercises, and a mountain-training package in Scotland.
• Coordinated and planned the Company’s training programme on the Commando’s 3 month winter deployment to Norway.

Description: • Successfully managed and motivated a highly diverse, intelligent and proficient team, including whilst working autonomously in extremely adverse conditions during the recent Gulf conflict.
• Liaised and negotiated with American armed forces and Kuwaiti civilian contractors and established excellent working relations with them to successfully achieve the above task.
• Demonstrated the ability to work independently to give direct, full and continual logistical management support to commando troops on the front line during a period of intense fighting.
