Description: Co-founded OUSEN in January 2008 with Andy Burton to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial learning amongst the OU Community. Responsible for leading OUSEN on business plan competitions as well as providing consultancy to academic researchers and postgraduate students on enterprise and self-employment opportunities. Currently involved as a Co-President.

Position: Coordinator of aid
Description: When Cyclone Nargis stormed through Irrawaddy Division and rest of the Lower Myanmar in May 2008, was involved initially as a coordinator of aid from the UK to cyclone affected areas in Irrawaddy Region. Afterwards responsible for advising social entrepreneurs and aid workers in Myanmar on regeneration and desalinating the soil.

Description: Founded ProsperStudent CIC in February 2006 as a pilot project to experiment the UK Government’s new initiative in creating ‘Community Interest Companies’ (CIC) as a new legal entity. The company’s vision is to end the era of skilled and talented students having to undertake part-time odd jobs during their time at the university. The business operations involved were matching skills of the students with outsourced projects from local SMEs. The operations ended in February 2008 as the project has been successfully completed.

Description: Commissioned to set up a student enterprise September 2005 to promote entrepreneurship within Oxford Brookes University and to allow students to learn entrepreneurship by doing whilst at the university. Responsible as a President of the society to set out long term goals and day to day running of the society. Was awarded Enterprise Fellowship in recognition to activities at Brookes Entrepreneurs. Left Brookes Entrepreneurs in February 2007 for the new President to takeover.

Remained as a silent partner when left for the UK for further education in July 2004.
