An award-winning staff photographer for the Statesman Journal newspaper in Salem, Oregon, since 2003, Thomas Patterson is based in Portland and available for freelance duties around the globe. He specializes in compelling editorial photography projects, wedding photojournalism and other multimedia. A graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism, philosophy and English, he supplies swagger, vigor and derring-do to any and all assignments.
Thomas Patterson's work has appeared in dozens of publications around the world, from The New York Times to the Seattle Times to the Glencoe High School Crimson Times, where he first developed Tri-X film.
