FULL BIO
Susanne Lucie Bauer started her career in the field of international development cooperation (M.A. & postgraduate in Social Sciences, Middle Eastern Studies and Development Economics, Bonn University, Germany) in 1989. Enrolled in Damascus University, Syria back in 1984/85 (!), her language proficiency entails some Arabic, but in particular English and French as well as some Italian and Turkish.
After ten years of employment with the International Labour Organisation (ILO: 1990 – 95) and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ: 1995 – 2000), Susanne has been working since 2001 as an international consultant in English- and French-speakting countries. Currently, Susanne uses e.g. Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and other strength-based approaches to effectively support positive thinking around the globe.
