Description: • As President, I was the primary contact to a disgruntled customer base many of whom were experiencing late shipments of over 18 months and broken promises. Negotiated successfully with every customer new ship date promises and had a 100% hit rate resulting in zero cancelled contracts and/or returned deposits.
• Successfully dealt with a discouraged vendor base by working with my CFO to pay down receivables and make good on company promises. We were able to reopen accounts that were either closed or on COD and we eliminated credit hold with more than 12 vendors.
• Helped negotiate rights to intellectual property that differentiated DOE in the marketplace and gave us a competitive advantage.
• Helped drive a reduction in manufacturing lead times from 18 weeks to 8 weeks.
• Have started streamlining manufacturing by implementing the planning of raw materials and inventory through a new MRP system.
